 | Post date: 2017/09/24 |
Tabas is located in central Iran, 950 kilometers southeast of Tehran, in South Khorasan Province. At first, it was part of the greater Khorasan province, but in 2001 it was annexed to Yazd Province. However in 2013 it was returned to Khorasan and it became part of South Khorasan province.
It is a desert city with lots of date and citrus trees. It has a 300 years old public garden, (Baghe-golshan. There is also a shrine in Tabas that is visited every year by thousands of pilgrims.
The history of Tabas dates back to pre-Islamic times. It was an important outpost of the Sassanid Empire and during the Arab invasion it was considered the gateway to Khorasan. It was spared when the Mongols attacked Iran. It had a local government incorporating not only Tabas, but also Ferdows and Gonabad. The failed rescue operation Operation Eagle Claw occurred near Tabas.
Cal Jenny:  is a very old door with valleys and beautiful and sometimes terrible erosion. This valley, known to the natives to the valley of jinns, is located in the city of Tabas.

Kelmerd Carvanserai
is located in an unspoilt, untouched, desert area, and is completely quiet environment away from noise pollution, which is very favorable for the observation of the sky with a clear sky without any pollution.
Halvan Desert, Tabas:Halvan Desert is located in the geographical location of N3355 North to North N3337 and East E5605 to East E5615 in Yazd province. This region is limited to the central to the central desert of Iran and the highlands of Pir Hadagh Tabas, from the south to the axis of communication between the city of Khore to Tabas, from the east to the mountains and heights of the lovers and to the west to the salt lake and the central desert of Iran.

Hell Cave:The age of the cave is estimated to be around 50 million years, according to Dr. Ariamennes (geologist and professor).

The inside of the cave is warm so this "Jahanam" cave is called "Hell"! To reach the inside of the cave, you must land 30 meters with climbing equipment and caving equipment. Photos of our program are February 2008.

Abstract
In the past 4 years, the RScy2013, RSCy2014, RSCy2015 and RSCy2016 conferences have been extremely successful and included experts in the fields of remote sensing and geo-information from over 40 different countries every year. The conference sessions and workshops include presentations regarding the state-of-the-art methods and innovative projects in various areas of remote sensing and geo-information. The RSCY conferences are attended by over 200 participants each year, making the conference an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues and showcase your agency.
